Spirituality Talks
Spirituality is something that I started looking into from a very young age. It was the question of “what am I, what am I doing and where am I going – for real?” that carried me into a serious investigation to find this answer. I would not settle for an explanation that left me with more questions. I always felt positive that we do know and can find this out and the answer was within me and just needed to be re-discovered.
The journey to pursue these questions turned out to be the most amazing of life experiences. From meeting all kinds of travellers that are interested in a similar path and hearing their stories to living in all kinds of different conditions.
GRACEdox is something that I really enjoy sharing with others. It is decades of work into discovering what a human being is and learning how the mind works. The understanding of life that became a way of living is nothing less than satisfying.
VENOMOUS SNAKES
Deadly Reptiles
We have many things in this world that we are afraid of from sharks to bees. Somewhere in the middle of this we have venomous snakes. A reptile equipped with syringe like teeth that inject a venom when they bite combined with a lightning fast strike that is quicker than we can see. The bite from a venomous snake can seriously injure us or even cause our death.
Venomous snakes themselves hold a high value for their venom. They have complete control on the amount of venom they inject. On occasion they deliver what is called a dry bite to serve as a warning to stay away. This is done to preserve their supply of venom and use it only when absolutely necessary. The snake requires about twenty four hours to replenish its arsenal if spent. Unfortunately, we will never know when a venomous snake decides to deliver a dry bite and we should never think or presume a venomous snake will deliver a dry bite as it usually does not.
Guatemala
Beautiful Country
It was 11:00 o’clock at night, I arrived in Guatemala. A friend picked me up at the airport. While driving to a hotel in Antigua I could not stop absorbing as much as possible as I have never been in a country like this before. I instantly fell in love with the architecture of this country. The drive was extremely peaceful for me. When we arrived in Antigua the night air had a beautiful aroma in it and it was extremely quiet. Many of the buildings in this city were old and well deserving of the name Antigua. The hotel was in immaculate shape. I really felt comfortable in Guatemala.
Through my time in Guatemala we have driven through many parts of the country. Several times we drove past sugar cane fields. The aroma in the air around these fields was amazing. There was a sweet smell that was just pleasing to me. On a foggy morning the air would be thick with the sweet smell of sugar.
