Karma is a bit of a teaser. What I may be afraid of, is most likely what karma produces down the road. I say “down the road” because consciousness is well ahead of my clever thinking of trying to control my fears and future. Put simply, if I am afraid of something happening, it most likely will happen. There is also something else to add to this, I will become the creator of this so called happening. I will not escape this kind of existence as there is no escape from my fears (in a lower state).
Unfortunately, because I am born with the tendency of being extremely stubborn, this is what I would need to open my eyes. So, in reality, happenings are for the purpose of my growth. Karma is not only negative. It can also be the opportunity to grow. That is why karma will always give what I need – not what I want, and that goes both ways – always without a difference. Depends on me. I will move on beyond this plain. My mind would like me to stay here forever, which most certainly will not happen.
